Korean Re Switzerland, the Zurich-based subsidiary of Asian reinsurer Korean Re, has announced the appointment of Nurhana Tajuddin as Head of Pricing and Analytics.
In her new role, Tajuddin will drive the development and strengthening of the pricing and analytical function at Korean Re in order to enlarge the firm’s client value proposition, according to the announcement.
Michael Hinz, Korean Re Switzerland’s Chief Underwriting Officer, commented: “I warmly welcome Hana to the team. Hana is a high calibre and top notch industry expert with whom I look forward to taking our pricing, analytical and portfolio steering capabilities to the next level.”
She brings to Korean Re deep experience in long-tail lines, portfolio management, P&C pricing methodology and data analytics.
Prior to joining the firm, Tajuddin spent 12 years with Swiss Re in London and Zurich in various actuarial and underwriting roles. Her most recent role was Senior Casualty Treaty Underwriter, a position she held for over two years.
“I’m really looking forward to the new challenges this will surely bring and to be part of Korean Re’s expanding presence in Europe,” Tajuddin said.
