Eurobase is an international software and services provider of re/insurance solutions, formed in 1988.

Korean Re explained that it selected Eurobase based on its comprehensive understanding of reinsurance processes and its experience of working with start-up operations.

“We are looking forward to working with Eurobase to establish an integrated and scalable underwriting platform which supports our business ambitions and is the backbone of our cost efficient operation,” said Markus A. Eugster, CEO of Korean Re Switzerland.

Joe Locke, CEO of Eurobase Insurance Solutions, also commented: “We are pleased to be partnering with Korean Re Switzerland and to support its anticipated growth in Europe.”

“As a result of recent and ongoing investment, Synergy2 is well positioned to meet the current and future requirements of reinsurance companies in what is a fast-changing technology landscape,” he added.

Korean Re’s global network also includes operations in locations such as Korea, Singapore, USA, UK, Japan, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia and Dubai.
