Melanie Gatza has been appointed to the role of Director of Reinsurance at Kuvare Holdings.
Based in Illinois, she joins the firm from re/insurance broker Gallagher, where she most recently held the role of Senior Financial Analyst.
Prior to joining Gallagher, Gatza spent more than three years working at Zurich, where she held various reinsurance analyst roles.
Additionally, Gatza also previously worked at wholesale insurance broker, Risk Placement Services, Inc., for just under seven years.
She joined the firm in 2012 taking on the role of Accounting Associate. Then in 2013, she was named Financial Analyst, and would go on to serve in this role for six years.
Meanwhile, Kuvare Holdings recently announced the closing of three additional strategic reinsurance transactions over the past two quarters, bringing the total number of completed reinsurance transactions to ten.
Additionally, earlier this year, Kuvare Holdings also announced the formation of Bermuda-domiciled reinsurer, Kindley Re Ltd, which will co-invest at least $400 million with Kuvare in qualifying life insurance and annuity transactions.
