Kwaku Baah-Nuakoh has become the new Chief Executive Officer of Seychelles Reinsurance Global Ltd (SeyRe Global), a Barbados-based re/insurer.
The reinsurer’s aim is to achieve a consistent growth target over its first five years and to leverage on the brand and rating of Ocean Re, its fronting partner, to position itself as a major player in the reinsurance business in Africa and beyond.
The company offers a number of services: property, marine, engineering including bonds, and short term reinsurance.
Baah-Nuakoh brings to his new position close to two decades of industry experience. He joins Dinesh Salgadu who is the company’s Chief Technical Officer, and Michels Akyere Bedy, who serves as Executive Assistant.
He comes to SeyRe Global from W-Safer Reinsurance Ltd, where he served as Country Manager for over a year.
Prior to that, Baah-Nuakoh spent over 16 years with Ghana Reinsurance Com, the biggest and first Reinsurance Company floated in Ghana.
