Reinsurance broker Lockton Re has announced the appointment of Charles (Chip) LaLone from Willis Re, as Managing Director in the U.S.
In his new role, LaLone will be responsible for Lockton Re’s advisory and treaty placement capabilities, as well as leadership responsibilities for improving customer relationships.
LaLone is regarded as a casualty treaty broking veteran, and has extensive industry knowledge. He joins the firm from Willis Re, where he was most recently an Executive Vice President (EVP), leading the professional and financial lines segment. Before Willis, LaLone worked at brokerage Guy Carpenter, and started his career at C.E. Heath, in London.
