Marsh Re, the global reinsurance broker, has appointed Lauren Nevens as Managing Director and Public Entity Segment Leader, based in Chicago.
This appointment aligns with Marsh Re’s continued commitment to deepen its capabilities and expand its presence in the Public Entity Segment.
Nevens has deep expertise in the public entity and education space, along with a strong track record of helping clients address complex reinsurance challenges.
She started her career as an Underwriter at Genesis Professional Liability Managers in 2000, subsequently spending 26 years with Genesis Management and Insurance Services, LLC, a provider of insurance and reinsurance to public entities and pools.
At Genesis, Nevens held several leadership positions, including her most recent stint as Senior Vice President, Division Manager for nearly four years.
In the past, she has served as Western Regional Manager for nearly five years and as Second Vice President and Senior Underwriter for nearly eighteen years.
