Honigman LLP, a general business law firm, has added Rob Humphries to the firm’s Insurance Practice Group as partner.
Humphries is dual qualified as a Cayman Islands and US attorney.
He brings over 15 years of corporate and transactional insurance experience to the firm, which ultimately will help boost the company’s insurance offerings.
Humphries’ practice focuses on a broad range of insurance, reinsurance and captive insurance work, which includes mergers and acquisitions (M&A), structuring, formations, corporate governance and ongoing regulatory advice.
In addition, he also boasts a deep level of experience in general corporate and commercial work, including M&A, joint ventures and general commercial transactions within the insurance, investment funds and broader financial services industry.
A known figure across the industry, Humphries has been widely published and he is also a regular speaker at a number of insurance industry conferences and events.
He has also served on several industry bodies and committees including the Cayman Islands Insurance Managers Association Legal and Regulatory Committee and the Cayman International Reinsurance Companies Association (CIRCA).
