Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM), part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has recently announced the promotion of Anabella Frontado to the newly established position of Head of War & Terrorism for the US and Latin America (LatAm).
In her new role, Frontado will oversee the profitable growth of this line of business in both regions. She will collaborate closely with claims and underwriting teams to develop tailored solutions for clients and brokers.
Frontado will report to William Goldberg, Chief of Staff in US & LatAm at LSM, and Mike Burle, interim Global Head of War & Terrorism at LSM.
Burle expresses his excitement for Frontado’s promotion, stating, “I am really pleased to congratulate Anabella on her new role. Since joining Liberty 13 years ago, she has demonstrated exceptional growth within the organisation and has become an indispensable part of our global war and terrorism offering.”

With nearly 20 years of industry experience, Frontado brings a wealth of expertise to her new position. Having spent over 12 years at Liberty Mutual Insurance, working across both the US and LatAm markets, she is well-equipped to lead LSM’s global underwriting team.
Prior to her promotion, Frontado served as Liberty Mutual Insurance’s Underwriting Officer for War & Terrorism in North America. Before that, she held the role of Underwriting Advisor, Multinational Programs, based in Miami.
