Speciality and commercial insurer Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM) has created a new Claims Manager, Client Relationships position within the organisation, focused on the promotion of claims, promoting Andrew Pedler in the process.
Reporting to both Head of Claims Mike Gillett and Head of Business Development Mark Stephenson, the role is a first for LSM and will see Pedler developing claims service as an integral part of the business’ offering to the market.
A Senior Claims Adjuster with LSM since 2012, Pedler has over ten years’ experience in the insurance market, starting his career as an Associate Claims Adjuster with business process and technology services providers Xchanging in 2007. He takes up his new position with immediate effect and will be based in LSM’s London headquarters.
Commenting on the appointment, Stephenson said, “We’ve created this role to ensure brokers understand both sides of our offering – underwriting and claims – especially as we have a market-beating track record in claims handling, combined with a unique perspective on the discipline.”
