Liberty Specialty Markets, a division of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has announced the appointment of Katja Bobrowski to the newly created position of Casualty Manager, Continental Europe.
Based in Cologne, Bobrowski will report to Head of Liberty Specialty Markets Central Region, Kadidja Sinz.
In her new role, she takes responsibility for developing the capabilities, talent and skills of the team to support the company’s aim of becoming a more relevant market player in the Continental European industrial and commercial Casualty sectors.
She brings more than 25 years of liability experience to the team, most recently serving as Technical Manager Liability and Environment for AXA CS. In this role, Bobrowski was responsible for guiding Branch Underwriting and for the development of new strategies designed to enable growth against profitability targets.
Commenting on the appointment, Sinz said: “Katja’s experience in general casualty makes her a tremendous addition to our Continental European team. Her knowledge of the business combined with her international background will be an invaluable asset to LSM and our clients.”
