Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM) has appointed Chris Hall to Senior Underwriter to head up the development of a new trade finance insurance initiative in the firm’s London headquarters.
In his new role, he will report to LSM’s Head of Underwriting and Strategic Development – Global Financial Risks, Andrew Beechey.
Beechey commented on the appointment; “we are very pleased to have Chris join our team. He’s established a very strong reputation in the trade finance sector as an innovator and strategic thinker.”
Hall is currently Head of Trade Asset Management for Lloyd’s Banking Group, after joining the group in 2015 and has since significantly broadened its distribution capabilities.
He began his banking career in 2005 with the Royal Bank of Scotland and is a serving board member of ITFA (International Trade and Forfaiting Association).
