Liberty Specialty Markets has appointed Jennifer Rubin to a newly created position as Senior Underwriting Executive and Head of Terrorism Underwriting in North America.
In this role, Rubin will be based in New York and takes up the position effective immediately. She will report to Alex Montoya, President of US, Bermuda and Latin America, Liberty Specialty Markets, which is part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group.
She joins the firm from Hiscox USA, where she most recently served as Senior Vice President, Head of Property and Terrorism.
Montoya commented: “Jennifer will provide leadership to various underwriting lines. Her initial focus will be on our North America War and Terrorism team, which has seen a significant increase in US terrorism submissions. Jennifer’s leadership will enable us to provide bespoke solutions to satisfy that growing demand.”
