Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM), part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has promoted Lillian Hua as Head of War and Terrorism for Latin America (LatAm) and the US, effective January 12th, 2026.
In her new role, Hua has a dual reporting line to Will Goldberg, Chief of Staff, LatAm & US, and Mike Burle, Global Lines Leader, War and Terrorism.
Hua’s remit includes delivering Liberty’s war and terrorism offering to clients in the LatAm & US region. She will work with the global team and broking partners to support clients as they navigate the ever-complicated geopolitical risk landscape.
She possesses outstanding risk expertise, deep market knowledge and excellent broker relationships, founded on a decade of earlier experience in the insurance industry, explained LSM. Hua joined the company in 2020 and quickly became a key team member.
Burle commented on the appointment, “Lillian is a great asset to the war and terrorism team, and her proven track record at Liberty provides her with a strong foundation to succeed in her new role: we congratulate her on her promotion.
