Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM), part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has appointed Jane Warren as Active Underwriter, effective immediately.
Based in London, Warren reports to Phil Hobbs, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) for LSM.
She brings over 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry, joining Liberty in 2019 from Axis Specialty Europe, where she was Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Warren takes over the role from Peter Smith, who recently moved to an expanded role with Liberty Mutual Re.
In her new role, she will be responsible for managing Lloyd’s Syndicate 4472, leveraging the future changes at Lloyd’s to benefit the firm’s customers and clients.
Previously, Warren served as UK Legal Entity Managing Director, and she will continue to retain responsibility for this role, leading the relationship with Lloyd’s and the relevant regulators.
