Munich Re, one of the world’s leading reinsurance, primary insurance and risk solutions providers, has appointed Linda Langenberg as Head of Section Property Treaty Global Clients and Lloyd’s.
She has taken up the new position after more than 16 years with Munich Re. During her career with the company, she has held a series of underwriting roles across international property treaty business, developing extensive experience in global client portfolios and catastrophe modelling.
Langenberg said she was grateful for more than 12 years working across Europe and Latin America, including six and a half years supporting the UK, the Nordic region and the Netherlands. She credited Munich Re with providing opportunities to build lasting professional relationships, valuable partnerships and broad industry experience throughout her time with the company.
In her new role, Langenberg will work with Munich Re’s Property Treaty Global Clients and Lloyd’s team during a dynamic period for the market.
Langenberg joined Munich Re as a Junior Underwriter and Catastrophe Modeller for Property Treaty USA and Global Clients in 2010. She later progressed through underwriting positions covering the USA, the Caribbean, Latin America, the Netherlands, the UK and the Nordic region before becoming Senior Underwriter for Property Treaty. Most recently, she served as Senior Underwriter before being appointed Head of Section Property Treaty Global Clients and Lloyd’s.
