The Lloyd’s Market Association (LMA) has appointed Janine Powell as claims director.
Powell will join from Lloyd’s, where she is currently head of customer oversight and delegated authorities, which includes responsibility for setting Lloyd’s Customer Standards and overseeing associated performance and compliance by syndicates and third parties.
She will join the LMA later this year.
Sheila Cameron, chief executive of the LMA, said: “I am delighted to announce the appointment of Janine, a highly respected leader in the Lloyd’s market, who will bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise across technical and operational claims, oversight and standards.”
She added: “Janine will be an important addition to our leadership team as the market continues its digitisation journey and as Lloyd’s delivers on its Blueprint 2 commitments to transform claims data, processes, and technologies.”
