Lloyd’s Europe has announced the appointment of Diana Santin as the new General Representative for Italy, pending regulatory approval.
According to the announcement, Nicoletta Andreotti, who has been serving as General Representative ad interim, will stay in the role until regulatory approval has been obtained for Santin.
In addition to her new role as General Representative for Italy, Santin has been appointed to MEDI Regional Manager, one of 4 sub-regions of Lloyd’s Europe, with effect from 17 June 2024.
Santin has been with Allianz since 2012, first as a Regional Account Manager, later becoming a Regional Commercial Underwriter and most recently as Regional Director Account Management at Allianz Trade for Multinationals, based in Milan.
Prior to Allianz, she served as an Account Manager for international insurance broker Assiconsult.
Earlier in the year, Lloyd’s also announced the appointment of Malik Abbassi-Antoine as its General Representative for France and Monaco, and as its Country Manager for France, Luxembourg and Monaco.
Abbassi-Antoine is taking over the position from Guy-Antoine de La Rochefoucauld, who is retiring.
