Independent insurance broker Lockton has announced the appointment of Paul Rodriguez as National Surety Practice Leader, succeeding Patrick Pribyl, who will transition to Chairman of the National Surety Practice.
Pribyl, who has been with Lockton since 1991, served as National Surety Practice Leader since 2020. In his new role, he will advise Rodriguez and the broader practice while continuing to engage with clients and carrier partners.
Rodriguez commented, “Patrick’s leadership has been instrumental in making Lockton one of the largest surety brokers globally.”
He added, “We look forward to building on his legacy and delivering even more value to our clients.”
Rodriguez will be supported by a regional leadership team, including Janina Monroe (West), Evan Sizemore (Central), and Doug Irvin (East).
He joined Lockton in 2022 as EVP / National Surety Growth Leader, playing a key role in expanding the firm’s U.S. presence and strengthening partnerships with leading construction, infrastructure, and Fortune 1000 companies.
Prior to that, he spent 18 years at Aon, most recently as Regional Managing Director.
