Global reinsurer PartnerRe has announced the appointment of Mark DiTaranto as its new Global Head of Claims.
DiTaranto joins PartnerRe from AXA XL, where spent nine years of his career, most recently as Global Head of Claims – Reinsurance.
He joined the company as Head of Claims – North America – Reinsurance following 11 years at XL Catlin.
Prior to that, he spent 14 years as a Non Equity Partner; Associate at Mendes & Mount.
