Financial holding company Markel Corporation has appointed Tom Williams as Environmental Product Line Leader, where he will lead the environmental team for the Markel Specialty division.
Williams previously worked at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty, where he was the environmental practice group leader for five years.
Prior to this, he worked for over ten years at AIG in a number of senior positions, including Senior Vice President.
His more than 20 years of experience in the environmental arena includes management roles at AIG and working as a consultant and scientist in the field.
Williams will report to Alan Rodrigues and will be based out of Alpharetta, Georgia.
