Marsh & McLennan Agency acquires LA broker Momentous

Marsh & McLennan Agency LLC (MMA), the middle market agency of global re/insurance broker Marsh, has announced the acquisition of Momentous Insurance Brokerage, an independent insurance agency based in Los Angeles, California.

handshakeFounded in 2008, Momentous is a risk management and employee benefits firm specialising in high net worth private client services and insurance solutions for the entertainment industry.

Following the takeover, all 220 Momentous colleagues will join MMA from their three offices in Los Angeles and Torrance, California, and New York City.

Additionally, MMA confirmed that Diane Brinson, President and CEO of Momentous, will continue to lead operations.

“Momentous has a long-established reputation for both their dedication to serving clients across the country and their expertise in the entertainment, film, and TV industries,” said David Eslick, CEO of MMA.

“We are excited to collaborate with the Momentous team and work together to further enhance our client offerings,” he added.

Chris Williams, CEO of MMA’s West region, also commented: “Diane and her team have built a strong business known for its commitment to clients, colleagues, and the community.
