Marsh McLennan India, the regional operation of the global insurance and reinsurance broking powerhouse, has announced Sanjay Kedia as its new CEO.
Kedia will be taking over in the new role starting April 2023 and this role comes in addition to his previous role as the President of Marsh India.
Marsh India is one of the leading Insurance Broker’s in India and Kedia had been its CEO for a number of years.
In his new role as CEO of Marsh McLennan India, Kedia will be responsible for leading a new collaborative effort in the country, to deliver innovative solutions across the range of group businesses.
Along with more significant client impact at the intersections of Marsh McLennan’s four businesses: Mercer, Marsh, Oliver Wyman, and Guy Carpenter.
Kedia has been working with Marsh McLennan India since 2002. Earlier, Kedia was also the Vice president of Jardine Lloyd Thompson, an insurance adviser and broker to many of the world’s largest construction companies and project owners. Kedia worked in the natural resource practice section of the company.
Kedia started his career at IDBI Bank as a financial advisory manager and debt syndication for infrastructure projects.
