Global insurance and reinsurance broker Marsh has appointed Kevin Richards to the newly-created position of Global Head of Cyber Risk Consulting.
Richards will be tasked with leading the strategic development and delivery of Marsh’s cyber risk consulting business worldwide, and will work closely with the company’s regional and local cyber risk experts, as well as its cyber insurance broking teams.
He joins Marsh from Accenture, where he most recently led its North America Security Practice and its Global Security Strategy & Risk Practice, before which he spent 10 years at the Information System Security Association (ISSA), most recently as International President.
In his new role, Richards will be based in Chicago and will report to Michael Poulos, President of Marsh Risk Consulting and Global Head of Client Advisory Services, who commented: “By constantly seeking to innovate around strategic risks such as cyber, we help clients to achieve their enterprise risk management and business goals.
