Insurance and reinsurance broking group Marsh has expanded Lisa Quest’s role to include serving as UK Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective April 6th, 2026. She succeeds Chris Lay, who is retiring from the business.
Quest, currently Head of UK and Ireland at Oliver Wyman, will collaborate with Marsh’s UK business leaders to shape the firm’s commercial strategy.
Based in London and reporting to Flavio Piccolomini, CEO, International, Marsh, Quest will also focus on strengthening and expanding client relationships across Marsh’s four businesses and driving innovative, data-driven solutions to support organisations across the UK’s diverse economy.
Quest joined Oliver Wyman in 2006, following time as a private equity investor, she returned in 2013 as Co-Head of the Government and Public Institutions Practice, Europe.
In 2023, she was appointed to the additional role of Head of UK and Ireland. Quest has global experience and deep expertise in data and analytics, the workforce of the future, and organisational design.
Additionally, Quest works extensively with HM Government on critical national priorities, including pay equity, defence financing, flood risk and resilience, and has supported the creation of new government bodies, including the National Wealth Fund.
