McGriff, a prominent retail insurance broker in the United States, has announced the promotion of industry veteran Mike Breedlove to the position of National Sales and Growth Leader.
In his new role, Breedlove will be instrumental in shaping the overarching strategy for sales activities across McGriff’s diverse commercial lines of business, encompassing property and casualty, group benefits, surety, and its Executive Risk Advisors division.
Breedlove, boasting over 35 years of extensive experience in the insurance sector, previously held the position of McGriff’s national director of property & casualty.
During his tenure, he initiated the McGriff Young Performers Program, a structured coaching and development initiative tailored for budding insurance producers entering the industry.
This program, launched in 2019, has seen remarkable success, growing to include nearly 150 commercial and employee benefits producers. Impressively, it has sustained double-digit growth annually, a testament to its efficacy in accelerating book growth for emerging talents in the field.
