Global insurance services provider McLarens has announced the acquisition of CNZ Group Holdings Limited and its subsidiaries, a loss adjusting, claims and repair management business based in New Zealand.
Headquartered in Auckland, CNZ Group was previously an employee-owned and operated affiliate of Crawford & Company.
CNZ Group has 26 offices across New Zealand and a team of more than 200 employees that provide claims handling and dispute resolution services across property, business interruption, construction & engineering, casualty, motor, marine and professional building consultancy lines.
The company also maintains a broad supplier network for reinstatement services in the country.
McLaren notes that the acquisition will build on its existing presence in Australia and the Pacific Islands, while also growing its loss adjusting and claims management business.
Following the acquisition, CNZ Group will become a part of McLarens’ global core loss adjusting and claims management services operating under the McLarens brand.
The business will continue to be led by Dean Garrod, as Managing Director, McLarens New Zealand, supported by CNZ Group’s current senior staff who will remain in their existing roles.
