Mike Goodson is taking on a new role at Swiss Re as its international programs head of underwriting for North America.
Goodson, who has been with the reinsurer of a quarter of a century, will start in his new position immediately.
Michael LaRocca, head of property and specialty North America for Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, said: “This appointment underscores a growing commitment to our International Programs business.”
“Mike will serve as a dedicated resource to that portfolio supporting our regional underwriting structure, enabling our multinational customers to manage their global insurance risks more effectively,” LaRocca added.
Goodson started his property insurance career in 1988 as a London Market Lloyds broker for Alexander Howden.
He has managed the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast Property teams and was previously engaged in the growth and portfolio steering activities supporting the Eastern Region business.
