Specialist re/insurance broker Miller has appointed three new hires to create a Caribbean Property team, as the firm continues its expansion into targeted product segments.
Michael Edwards has been appointed to Head of Caribbean in P&C alongside Charlie Lunn as Account Executive and Toby Pearcy as Broker.
All three will have a focus on developing business in Caribbean territories, and look to further grow Miller’s client base and network.
In this new role, Edwards will report into Tony Dryden, who heads up Miller’s International Property team. Lunn and Pearcy will both report to Edwards.
Edwards holds over 30 years of experience, and brings with him deep knowledge of the Caribbean market and long-standing relationships with leading local insurers.
Prior to joining Miller, Lunn was at AmWins Global Risks, where he was responsible for developing new business opportunities with Caribbean clients.
He has also held roles at Tysers and Co. and HSBC Insurance Brokers.
The establishing of a Caribbean Property team comes following recent expansion in Renewables, Surety and Construction.
