Mission, a MGA incubator, has announced four senior appointments as part of efforts to strengthen its UK and European operations and support its ongoing growth strategy.
The company has appointed Abz Shipon and James Gallagher as Account Directors, Courtenay Davison as Head of Technology Delivery, and Rayhanah Russell as Programme Manager.
Mission provides infrastructure and support for managing general agents (MGAs), covering underwriting, operations, data, compliance, capacity and distribution. The latest appointments are intended to reinforce governance, operational coordination and programme delivery as the platform expands and supports both newly launched and established MGAs.
Ross Dingwall, CEO of Mission in the UK and Europe, commented: “We have started 2026 with real momentum, and these appointments strengthen the roles at the centre of how Mission operates. Abz and James will work alongside our MGAs to turn growth plans into performance by connecting strategy, delivery and governance across the platform.
“Courtenay will enhance our technology leadership, strengthening how we execute complex programmes across the UK and Europe to support both new launches and existing ventures. Rayhanah will bring clear portfolio oversight as we scale, ensuring initiatives remain prioritised, coordinated and aligned to strategic objectives.”
Shipon joins Mission from Hiscox, where he held senior positions across schemes, digital trading and operations. He previously held leadership roles at Capita Insurance Services.
In his new role, Shipon will focus on building and maintaining client relationships, supporting business development opportunities, assisting with the launch of new MGAs and helping integrate new ventures into the Mission platform.
Gallagher joins the business from Tysers, where he worked as a Project Manager. Before that, he spent nine years at Hiscox in roles covering project management, leadership and service improvement.
At Mission, Gallagher will work with MGA partners to support business performance, assist with new launches and maintain coordination across the platform’s operational capabilities.
Davison brings experience in technology leadership within the insurance and financial services sectors. His background includes managing complex programmes, leading teams and overseeing operational delivery across both UK-based and international projects.
In the role of Head of Technology Delivery, Davison will focus on strengthening the company’s technology delivery capability across the UK and Europe, supporting the launch of new MGAs and enhancing the platform’s technology capabilities for existing ventures.
Russell joins Mission from Tokio Marine Group, where she managed large-scale underwriting and operational transformation programmes involving technology, data and platform development.
As Programme Manager, Russell will oversee the organisation of Mission’s programme portfolio, supporting the development of new MGAs while improving oversight and coordination across ongoing initiatives.
