Misui Bussan Pana Harrison, the Singapore based re/insurance broker that is 51% owned by the Mitsui & Co of Japan, has appointed Inyeong Yi as Head of Treaty Reinsurance and Strategic Growth.
He joined the company in December, after more than 11 years of service at broking group Aon.
In his most recent role at the firm, he served as Head of Credit and Financial Risks, Reinsurance (Asia), for Aon’s Reinsurance Solutions.
From what we understand, in his new role at Misui Bussan Pana Harrison, Yi’s responsibilities include leading treaty business growth, which is primarily focusing on traditional property and casualty treaty and continuously working on Credit Risk Transfer deals along with surety and structured credit business.
He is also expected to secure capacities on Aerospace, General Aviation risks, which include aviation financing for both insurance, reinsurance clients inclusive of banking clients.
Moreover, in 2009, Misui Bussan Pana Harrison officially became a Lloyds of London London registered broker.
Over the years, the company’s core focus has been to provide a total risk management solution for it’s clients.
