Mosaic Insurance is now offering customised professional liability protection for specialist engineers, offering $15 million in targeted primary coverage for unique risks.
According to the announcement, the new form offers a dedicated product, with core coverage of professional liability, plus enhancements such as pollution, public-relations costs, and mitigation.
The suite caters to specialist engineers serving a range of industries, including process, chemical, oil and gas, petrochemical, mining, nuclear, renewable energy, testing, defense, transportation, and environmental.
It includes coverage on a global scale, with up to USD$15-million line available, and it considers risks of all sizes, from multinationals to individuals working on a freelance project basis.
Additionally, limits are preferably deployed in primary lead position, but excess placements are also considered. The suit also targets specialists who provide engineering and consultancy services, design and build companies, project management, co-ordination and scheduling, program management, or logistics services firms.
Mosaic’s professional liability team has a long track record of providing insurance solutions to the engineering sector across various industries and disciplines.
The customised product suite underscores these expertise, as well as Mosaic’s claims reputation, and underwriting leadership in the sector, the company stated.
