Mosaic Insurance, the specialty insurer, has announced the appointment of Taylor Denier as Senior Vice President and Head of US Environmental Liability.
Denier will be based in the company’s New York office and will report to Global Head Jim Finnamore. The move is part of Mosaic’s global expansion strategy to address the increasing demand for environmental insurance solutions.
Denier, with 20 years of experience in the sector, will be responsible for developing and executing the operational and growth strategy for Mosaic’s American portfolio.
Jim Finnamore, Global Head of Mosaic Insurance, expressed excitement about responding to the growing client demand in the US market and emphasised that Denier’s appointment is just the beginning of an ambitious growth plan for the environmental liability division.
Mosaic’s environmental risk division also has specialists in London and Toronto, with plans to expand the team further in the coming months. The company aims to support businesses transitioning to more sustainable, low-carbon futures.
Denier, commenting on his new role, highlighted the rapidly evolving nature of environmental risks globally.
He emphasised the challenges in managing complex liabilities driven by factors such as hazardous chemicals and volatile climate changes.
