Specialty Lloyd’s insurer and reinsurer, MS Amlin Underwriting Limited (MS AUL), has made Vipul Gupta its permanent Senior Executive Officer (SEO) in Dubai, subject to regulatory approval.
Gupta first joined MS Amlin in 2015 and has served as the interim SEO in Dubai since July 2021.
He will report to Johan Slabbert, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), with a secondary reporting line into Andrew Carrier, Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO).
Gupta has more than 13 years’ experience in the London and Middle East and North Africa (MENA) markets. He joined the re/insurer as a Senior Underwriter for War, Terrorism & Political Risk, and has become a key part of the MS Amlin MENA underwriting team.
Prior to MS Amlin, he served as the Divisional Director for Willis’ MENA region for three years. His career in the industry commenced in 2008 at J.B. Boda UK as a reinsurance broker.
