The U.S branch of global reinsurer Munich Re has appointed Richard Alleyne to the position of Chief Legal Officer, Munich Re US P&C Companies.
He will be based in Hartford and report to Adrienne Mageras, Chief Operating Officer for Munich Re America Services.
Alleyne brings over 20 years of industry experience across all lines of insurance, claims, reinsurance and litigation to Munich Re US P&C Companies.
Most recently, he served as Deputy General Counsel and Head of the Business Law Group for an insurance and financial services organisation.
In that role Alleyne led a team of legal professionals providing strategic and tactical support to the Property & Casualty and Group Benefits business.
