Munich Re America promotes Sarina Puccio to Team Leader for Credit and Surety

Munich Re America has announced the appointment of Sarina Puccio as Team Leader for Credit, Surety, and Political Risk in its Reinsurance Division.

Munich Re logo on a signIn her new role, she will be responsible for growing the surety, trade credit, and political risk business portfolio, as well as managing the division’s team of underwriters, overseeing client relationships, and ensuring pricing integrity.

Puccio joined Munich Re America in January 2017 as a Vice President and Production Underwriter for the credit, surety and political risk business.

She succeeds Frank Bonner, previous leader of the credit and surety business, who is retiring after a 40-year career at Munich Re America.

Steve Levy, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President for the Reinsurance Division, Munich Re America, commented: “Having spent her entire career in the field of surety and credit insurance, Sarina brings deep industry expertise to her new role.

Previously, Puccio served as a portfolio underwriter for credit, surety and political risk for European reinsurer R+V Versicherung, before which she held a variety of positions in client and project management at credit insurer Coface from 2003 to 2012.
