Global reinsurer Munich Re has recently appointed Jack Faure as the Head of Parametric NatCat Solutions.
In this role, Faure will manage the company’s global transactional team. He will lead project teams to drive and support product development while also fostering collaboration with external partners such as data providers, calculation agents, and Managing General Agents (MGAs).
Prior to joining Munich Re, Faure served as Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Parameter Climate for over two years.
Before that, he was a Reinsurance Broker at TigerRisk Partners, where he managed reinsurance placements in Property (Catastrophe), Casualty, and Specialty lines for various clients, including MGAs, InsurTechs, regional carriers, and publicly traded carriers.
Faure also spent four years at Sompo International, where he most recently held the position of Assistant Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Sompo Global Weather.
