Global reinsurance giant Munich Re has appointed Rodrigo Nieto, formerly of Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, as Client Executive South America (non-life, excluding Brazil), effective February 3rd, 2020.
In his new role, Nieto will be based in Bogotá, Colombia, and takes responsibility for Munich Re’s non-life initiatives in South America.
His appointment reflects the reinsurer’s commitment to the region and Nieto is expected to work closely with clients and partners of Munich Re to deliver the best solutions for their needs.
Nieto brings two decades of industry experience to the role, and most recently served as Head of Sales within Swiss Re Corporate Solutions for Latin America. Prior to this, he held numerous different positions with Swiss Re, KPMG, and Aon Risk Solutions in Miami, New York, and Bogotá.
