Munich Re Specialty Insurance, a division of German reinsurance giant Munich Re, has promoted Karen Rzeszutko to a new leadership role at Munich Re Specialty Group, North America (MRSG N.A.).
Making the announcement on LinkedIn, Munich Re Specialty Insurance said that Rzeszutko has been appointed as Senior Vice President, Marine Underwriting.
Within this role she will lead the company’s inland and ocean marine underwriting teams from the MRSG N.A. headquarters in Chicago, IL. She also brings high-level industry expertise and a collaborative approach to underwriting.
Rzeszutko has been with MRSG N.A. since its founding, she also has extensive leadership experience in both underwriting and claims, and overall has 25 years of industry experience.
In addition, she has also been with Roanoke Insurance Group – a Munich Re company and specialty insurance broker, for over 18 years.
