Munich Re-owned specialty insurer HSB has announced the appointment of Amin Touahri to its finance team as Head of Financial Solutions.
Touahri has worked for Munich Re since April 2017, having originally joined the reinsurer as a Casualty Treaty Underwriter.
Most recently, he worked with Munich Re in Paris as Origination Lead France & Be/Lux and Client Manager responsible for the Financial Solutions practice for France, Belgium and Luxembourg.
Prior to joining Munich Re, Touahri worked at Willis Re and Generali where he gained experience in reinsurance program structuring for complex deals as well as Asset/Liability modelling.
In his new role, Touahri will work closely with HSB Finance Teams in the US, Canada and UK to help enhance economics related to client treaty partnerships, new financial products and help drive client acquisition, retention or profitability optimization.
He will also look to drive engagement on financial and reinsurance issues and help foster the sharing of best practices, new insights and client activities across HSB Group.
