HSB Engineering Insurance (HSB), the specialist industrial engineering and construction insurance arm of reinsurer Munich Re, has announced the appointment of Paula Homan as Director of Engineering Services, effective immediately.
Homan will be tasked with leading the activities of HSB’s engineering inspection services division in the UK and Ireland in line with the company’s strategy.
This will include the development of business growth, operational leadership of HSB’s engineering field force, and delivery of all engineering inspection customer services.
Homan joins HSB from Homeserve PLC where she was Director of Claims, with responsibility for leading the claims centre, before which she was Head of Transformation.
She has over 25 years of experience in leadersip operational performance and customer service roles, having previously spent 12 years in operational management in the legal sector.
“Paula brings a wealth of experience successfully managing large teams,” said Stephen Worrall, Managing Director at HSB.
“Her strategic focus and expertise in operational performance and customer experience will be a fantastic asset to HSB,” he added.
“Our inspection service is a key part of our business and ensuring service delivery and customer service excellence is pivotal to its success.”
