Munich Re’s HSB launches online broker trading platform in Ireland

11th June 2020 - Author: Matt Sheehan

HSB, the specialist engineering and technology insurance arm of Munich Re, has launched a new broker online trading platform in Ireland, called HSB Fast Track.

HSB LogoHSB Fast Track e-trade platform will offer brokers in Ireland a suite of HSB products that includes Construction Annual, Construction Project, Contractors’ Plant, and Computer and Cyber.

The launch in Ireland follows the roll-out of the system in the UK in 2019 and is part of HSB’s online distribution strategy.

HSB Fast Track is designed to make trading with HSB easier for brokers by facilitating the quote and bind process for construction, technology, and engineering-based insurance products.

“We are delighted to launch HSB Fast Track in Ireland,” said Stephen Coughlan, Regional Development Manager – Ireland. “Following the successful roll-out in the UK, we wanted to offer our state-of-the-art online services to our brokers in Ireland.”

“Our e-trade platform has been designed to make construction and engineering products easy to trade electronically, and its development follows research and feedback from our brokers to ensure that HSB Fast Track is as comprehensive as possible.”

HSB’s online platform and e-trade strategy is supported by a dedicated e-trade team headed by Martin Parker, Development Manager.

“We want to make trading with HSB a quick, simple, and enjoyable process for our brokers,” said Parker.

“For us, e-trading isn’t just about providing an online trading platform. Central to our e-trade proposition is ensuring brokers have direct access to a dedicated team of specialist underwriters and a fast response to any e-trade queries they have.”
