HSB, a specialist engineering and technology insurer and part of Munich Re, has appointed Ian Fox as UK Head of Sales.
Based in Manchester, Fox will be reporting to Paul Kay, Director of Sales and Distribution. He will lead HSB’s UK team of Regional Development Managers and their Business Development teams across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
His key responsibility in this new role will be to build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and grow HSB’s engineering insurance and inspection business portfolios.
Fox has over 25 years of experience in the general insurance market. Before joining HSB, he was Regional Development Manager at Ensurance UK focusing on the construction sector and was instrumental in the company’s regional growth in the UK.
Prior to Ensurance, he spent 17 years at global insurance provider ACE/Chubb where he held a number of senior roles, which included leading the company’s Northern region for Underwriting and Sales.
