Paul Martin, previously of the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC), has joined the Reinsurance Association of America (RAA) as Vice President of State Relations.
Most recently, Martin served as Senior Regional Vice President, State Affairs with the NAMIC, and previously served as Lobbyist/Claim Attorney with State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company.
RAA’s President, Frank Nutter, said: “Paul’s extensive experience and success in lobbying state legislators and regulators will serve him well in his new role.
“A proven public policy and political advisor, he understands the issues that are important to the property/casualty industry, and that building relationships is of utmost importance to convey advocacy positions to key decision-makers. We are pleased to welcome Paul to the RAA.”
In his new role, Martin will be based in Austin, Texas, U.S.
