National Reinsurance Corporation of the Philippines (Nat Re) has announced the appointment of Von Edward Ebron to Vice President (VP) and Head of Life Reinsurance and Data Administration.
Ebron brings to his new role over two decades of extensive experience across the insurance and reinsurance sectors, spanning actuarial analysis, product development, strategic marketing, project management, corporate sales, and operations management.
He has consistently held influential leadership positions in product management, strategic marketing, business development, and corporate sales throughout his career.
Ebron has been with Nat Re since 2018, when he joined the company as AVP, Life Treaty Officer. In 2023 he was appointed SAVP, Life Treaty Officer, his most recent role prior to his recent promotion.
“Since joining Nat Re in 2018, Mr. Ebron has played a pivotal role in developing and launching innovative insurance products, establishing new distribution channels, and consistently driving strong business growth,” a Nat Re spokesperson commented.
Prior to Nat Re, Ebron served as Corporate Sales Director for AXA Philippines, and as AVP & Head of Business Development, Brokerage & Corporate, Accident & Health for the ACE Group. He also spent 11 years at Pioneer Life Inc., where he held a number of roles through his tenure in the company.
