Marsh, a global insurance broking and risk management firm, has announced the appointment of Andrew Neary CEO of Marsh Agency’s newly combined Eastern region of the US, effective immediately.
Based in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, Neary will lead around 1,400 colleagues across the unified East and Northeast territories.
The newly established East region, which has an unified leadership and operating structure, also includes New York, New Jersey, New England, and the broader US Northeast.
In his new position, Neary will oversee client service, sales, and operations across the combined region. His responsibilities also include shaping strategic growth across dynamic markets from Maine to Pennsylvania, alongside aligning key talent, resources, and client-facing capabilities.
Prior to his expanded role, Neary led the former East region for five years, and will continue to report to Matt Stadler, President, Marsh Agency, who commented: “Under Andrew’s leadership, the East region built one of the strongest operating models and cultures in our business, and I have every confidence that he and his team will do the same for our newly combined region, to the benefit of our colleagues and, most importantly, our clients.
“Merging the regions will deliver a deeper bench of expertise and broader in-house capabilities for clients, combining industry specialists and local market knowledge while maintaining the structures and relationships clients know today.”
Neary said: “Marsh Agency has very strong teams and capabilities across the newly combined region. Through our deep client relationships, we have a real opportunity to deliver even greater value to the clients and colleagues we serve across the East and Northeast.”
