Neon hires Chris Conway to Bermuda Property Reinsurance team

Insurance and reinsurance specialist Neon has announced the hiring of Chris Conway to its Bermuda Property Reinsurance underwriting team, as it looks to expand its activities in the United States market.

Neon logoConway will report to Neon’s Head of Property Reinsurance, Nick Pritchard, and joins the firm immediately.
He will be tasked with working to expand Neon’s ambitions in the U.S. property reinsurance market, producing underwriting business for Neon’s Bermuda office through U.S. brokers.

Conway was most recently a senior underwriter at Ascot Underwriting Bermuda, prior to which he worked for a diverse range of reinsurance capital platforms, with roles at AQR Re, Third Point Reinsurance and Axis Specialty.

As a result he has experience of underwriting both traditional and collateralized U.S. and international property catastrophe reinsurance, retrocession, property per risk business and insurance-linked securities (ILS).
