Marken Re Specialty Limited, a newly formed specialty re/insurance broker that will operate from Lloyd’s of London, has been launched by the company’s founders Pieter Vlasbloem and Nathan Parke.
“Our goal is to enhance the development of our clients by providing them with the most reliable and optimal (re)insurance solutions, with focus on our clients in the emerging markets,” said Managing Director Vlasbloem who, prior to co-founding Marken Re, lead Lloyd’s NDI Insurance & Reinsurance Brokers for over a decade.
Marken Re Specialty Limited is a privately owned re/insurance broker with access to global, London and Lloyd’s markets through its own network as well as being regulated as Appointed Representative of Lloyd’s Brokers Dublon Insurance Brokers Limited, London.
The company will specifically focus on certain key areas such as trade and investment credit guarantees and surety, agricultural programs, Energy, Marine & Aviation however professional assistance and broking in other classes is available as well.
Parke, Marken Re’s Commercial Director and co-founder has been active in the industry since 2007 and most recently served as NDI Insurance Brokers’ Associate Director and Head of Broking
“We believe that we are making a difference for clients who have experienced undelivered promises and feel that the cost of services provided by most brokers are too high relative to the services and skills delivered,” Parke added.
