Nick Pritchard has joined Aon as managing director for property retrocession in Bermuda.
The move was announced on LinkedIn, with Pritchard joining the firm after two years with Vantage Risk Companies as its SVP and head of property catastrophe.
Prior to Vantage, Pritchard spent three-and-a-half years at Neon, as the head of property reinsurance between February 2017 and August 2018, and as head of reinsurance between September 2018 and August 2020.
He also spent twelve years at Validus Reinsurance in a variety of roles, including within its insurance-linked securities investment manager unit, AlphaCat.
Earlier this year, Aon joined the Association of Bermuda Insurers and Reinsurers (ABIR).
The firm reportedly has over 160 Bermuda-based employees, working in risk management, risk transfer, insurance and reinsurance broking, and consultancy products and services.
