Newline Europe, a Cologne-based insurance company authorised by the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority, has appointed Nikola Milutinović as Regional Underwriting Manager for Northern Germany with effect from 1 October 2026.
Newline Europe explained that this newly created role strengthens its presence in northern Germany and supports further growth in the region.
Milutinović has extensive underwriting experience in the life sciences sector. Most recently, he served as a Senior Life Science Underwriter at Chubb in Hamburg, where he specialised in complex risks and multinational liability programmes for clinical trials and biotechnology companies.
His broader experience also spans broker relations, product development and process optimisation. On the broking side, he has worked with industrial and commercial clients.
Based in Hamburg for the new role, Milutinović will reportedly work closely with estate agents and clients, build on existing business relationships, develop new partnerships and ensure a prompt service backed by in-depth knowledge of the regional market. He will report to Markus Schäfer, Head of Underwriting at Newline Europe.
