Novi Underwriters has welcomed Jason Binette, James Cinque, and Cody Ruggirello to lead its newly launched management liability offering.
Novi Underwriters is a full-service managing general underwriter administered by Lockton Affinity, focused on transforming complex challenges into competitive advantages for insurance agencies and carriers.
It builds strong relationships with carrier partners to provide specialised product lines that enable its agency partners to access streamlined insurance solutions for their clients.
The new management liability offering features modern forms for a variety of risks with quick points of sale, benefiting auto dealers, fintechs, manufacturers, retailers, foundations, biotech, staffing, entertainment, restaurants, start-ups, and more.
It includes built-in enhancements designed to support organisations with assets from $0 to $1 billion and 0 to 5,000 employees.
Coverage will be backed by Vantage Risk, a specialty re/insurance company, and will include Directors and Officers Liability, with options for derivative demand investigations, crisis management, employed lawyers, additional limit of liability for Side A, and additional limit of liability for defense costs.
It will also include Employment Practices Liability, with options for Immigration Reform & Control Act, workplace violence, social media, wage & hour (FLSA) and employee privacy enhancements.
In addition, Fiduciary Liability, with options for HIPAA Penalties, PPACA penalties, ERISA Section 502(c) penalties, IRC Section 4975(a) Taxes and voluntary compliance program costs.

Binette brings more than 20 years of management liability underwriting experience, combining technical precision with product innovation and deep broker relationships. Prior to joining Novi, he led the Employment Practices Liability division at AmTrust Financial, managing underwriting operations for both standalone and integrated EPLI products across commercial lines.
Cinque brings two decades of experience, blending analytical rigour with strategic growth. He previously served as Assistant Vice President at ANV Global Services, managing teams across a diverse portfolio of not-for-profit, privately held, and publicly traded companies.
Ruggirello has more than 10 years of specialty lines underwriting experience. Before joining Novi, he served as Underwriting Manager at ANV Global Services, strengthening profitability while supporting clients across not-for-profit, private, and public sectors.
